    Tools

Explore Pulse's core tools - Notes, To-dos, Chatbot, Reminders, Shortcuts, and Search that work together to power your Personal COO.

Pulse provides a suite of integrated tools that work seamlessly together to manage your operations. Each tool is designed to reduce friction and keep you focused on what matters most.

    Notes: Your Workspace Memory

Use Pulse as your "Workspace Memory." It captures, transcribes, and organizes your thoughts, meeting decisions, and key information, so nothing gets lost.

    How Notes Work

Dictate notes hands-free via voice note or through the chatbot, send them via text, or type them directly into the Pulse app. Pulse transcribes and intelligently tags everything automatically. During meetings, Pulse can listen in, identify key decisions, and automatically capture action items, linking them directly to your To-dos for seamless follow-through.

All notes are stored and instantly searchable within your self-created folders. You can organize notes by project, client, topic, or any structure that makes sense for your work. The powerful search functionality lets you find any note, even from months ago, in seconds.

When you're writing, Pulse can act as your co-author. It auto-generates the next sentence or paragraph based on your context to help you move forward when you're stuck. While editing, you can right-click any sentence to "Ask AI." Pulse can instantly find related information, provide data to support your statement, or help you rephrase content for clarity and impact.

    Example Commands

"Pulse, take a note: We need to reconsider the marketing timeline for the new feature."

"Find my notes from the strategy meeting last month."

"What did we decide about the Q4 budget in yesterday's call?"

(Highlighting a sentence) "Ask AI: Find statistics to support this claim."

"Help me finish this paragraph about customer retention strategies."

    Use Cases

Capture meeting minutes and action items without breaking flow during discussions. Document project decisions and the reasoning behind them for future reference. Keep research findings, competitive intelligence, and market insights organized and searchable. Draft reports, proposals, and presentations with AI assistance. Maintain a personal knowledge base that grows with your work.

    To-dos: Complete Action Item Management

Have Pulse manage your complete inventory of action items, ensuring every commitment is tracked and executed without anything slipping through the cracks.

    How To-dos Work

Pulse automatically captures action items identified from your notes, emails, and conversations. It intelligently categorizes them by project or urgency, making it easy to see what needs attention. You can tell Pulse to add, edit, or check off to-dos on your behalf from any interface—voice, chat, or email.

The system understands natural language, so you can say things like "Remind me to follow up with Sarah next Tuesday" and Pulse will create the appropriate to-do with the right due date. To-dos are organized in customizable folders and can be filtered by priority, project, or deadline.

    Example Commands

"Add 'Finish Q3 budget review' to my high-priority list."

"Mark 'Send follow-up to Sarah' as complete."

"What are my outstanding tasks for the Project launch?"

"Move all marketing tasks to next week."

"Show me everything due this Friday."

    Background Tasks

Pulse proactively flags tasks that are approaching their deadline or appear to be blocked, such as waiting on a response from someone else. It suggests follow-up actions automatically, like "You haven't heard back from John about the proposal—should I send a reminder?"

When new action items are mentioned in emails or meetings, Pulse surfaces them and asks if they should be added to your to-do list. This ensures nothing falls through the cracks even when you're moving fast.

    Chatbot: Your Command Center

The Pulse Chatbot is your primary command center for delegating to your Personal COO. It understands complex, multi-step requests, executes tasks across your tools, and can instantly learn from new information you provide.

    How the Chatbot Works

Access the Chatbot via the Pulse web or mobile app from anywhere. The interface is designed for natural conversation—just type or speak your request as you would to a human assistant.

One powerful feature is file intelligence. Simply drag-and-drop files like PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, or presentations directly into the chat. Pulse will instantly break down, summarize, and deeply interpret the content for you. It learns the information from these files to answer your questions and complete subsequent tasks, such as drafting emails based on a report's findings or creating to-dos from a project plan.

The Chatbot maintains context from your previous conversations and integrated tools, so you don't have to repeat yourself. It can reference notes from last week, check your calendar, review your to-do list, and search your emails—all in service of completing your request intelligently.

    Example Commands

(After dropping a 20-page PDF report) "Give me the 3 key takeaways and a one-paragraph summary."

(After dropping a project plan) "Break this down into a list of to-dos for the design team and assign them to me for review by Friday."

"Remind me to leave for the airport when my travel time is over 45 minutes based on current traffic."

"Draft an email to the team summarizing what we decided in today's meeting."

"What's on my calendar tomorrow and what prep do I need to do?"

"Find all my notes about the Atlas project and create a status summary."

    Advanced Capabilities

The Chatbot can execute multi-step workflows. For example, you can say "Prepare me for tomorrow's client meeting" and Pulse will:

    1. Pull up the meeting from your calendar
    2. Find relevant notes and emails about that client
    3. Summarize recent conversations and open issues
    4. Draft talking points for the agenda
    5. Create any necessary prep tasks

This level of orchestration across tools is what makes Pulse a true Personal COO, not just a chatbot.

    Reminders: Never Miss What Matters

Pulse sends intelligent reminders that adapt to your context and preferences, ensuring you're always prepared for what's next.

    How Reminders Work

Set reminders through any channel—voice, chat, text, or email. Pulse will send them back to you via your preferred method: text message, Slack notification, email, phone call, or push notification in the app.

Reminders can be time-based ("Remind me at 3pm"), location-based ("Remind me when I leave the office"), or context-based ("Remind me before my next meeting with Sarah"). Pulse understands relative time references like "tomorrow morning," "next Tuesday," or "in two hours."

    Example Commands

"Remind me to review the proposal before tomorrow's 10am meeting."

"Set a reminder to call Mom this weekend."

"Alert me when I need to leave for the airport accounting for traffic."

"Remind me to follow up on this if I don't hear back by Friday."

    Shortcuts: Accelerate Frequent Actions

Create custom shortcuts for actions you perform repeatedly, turning multi-step processes into single commands.

    How Shortcuts Work

Define shortcuts through the Pulse app or by asking Pulse to "remember this workflow." For example, you might create a shortcut called "Weekly Report" that automatically:

    1. Pulls to-dos completed this week
    2. Summarizes key meetings and decisions from notes
    3. Drafts an email with this information
    4. Sends it to your manager

Once created, you just say "Run Weekly Report" and Pulse executes the entire workflow.

    Example Commands

"Create a shortcut called 'Team Standup' that summarizes my progress and sends it to Slack."

"Run my Monday morning routine." (Your custom shortcut for week planning)

"Remember this as my 'Client Prep' workflow and run it before all client meetings."

    Search: Find Anything Instantly

Pulse's powerful search works across all your connected data sources—notes, emails, calendar, to-dos—giving you instant access to information.

    How Search Works

Simply ask Pulse to find something in natural language. The search understands context, synonyms, and relationships between information. It doesn't just match keywords; it understands what you're looking for.

Search results are ranked by relevance and recency, with previews that let you quickly identify the right information. You can filter by date, source, or content type.

    Example Commands

"Find my notes about the product roadmap from Q2."

"When did I last talk to Sarah about the budget?"

"Show me all action items related to the Atlas project."

"What did we decide about hiring in the leadership meeting?"

"Find that email from John about the vendor contract."

    How Tools Work Together

The real power of Pulse comes from how these tools integrate seamlessly:

A meeting note automatically creates to-dos for action items mentioned, which trigger reminders at the right time. The Chatbot can search your notes to answer questions about past decisions while drafting an email. Shortcuts can orchestrate workflows across multiple tools without manual coordination.

This integration means you spend less time managing tools and more time getting work done. Pulse handles the coordination so you don't have to.
